My Knees Hurt
This was my fraternity's initiation weekend. Initiation starts on Thursday night and ends with the formal ceremony around 5pm on Friday. Of course, everything is secret, but this year I did not attend any of the initiation events. My little brother Jesse came up from NJ and we headed to the party which was at a bar in New Haven. It was a great time to meet the new guys, and see all the alumni that show up.
The night was fun but by about 1am the party was moving back to campus and I kinda wanted to check out the gay bar down the street... so I took my little brother with me. He was so nervous, but wanted to go and how support to me. So we get in, grab a beer and I run into a reader who I have known for a while. We talked an just kinda took everything in... and then we were out for the night.
Our chapter is very close...hell, I helped rebuild it up while I was an undergrad. As tradition to celebrate, we hold our Red Carnation Ball the day after initiation. Everyone gets dressed up and it's a time of the year that alumni come back and see everyone.
WHAT A FUCKING DAY!
We started drinking at 1:00pm and watched some Kevin Bacon movie and some UFC fights. Started getting ready, drank a bottle of champagne and then went to meet the bus that would be taking us to the Ball.
There was a HOT bartender who was maybe 22 years old. He always had my drink ready for me. I was drinking Jack and ginger Ale all night.
The dance floor was slick, and while dancing to some song I slipped and fell down and hit my knee in a way that made it balloon up to the size of a softball.
In all, I laughed so much this weekend, and had not a care in the world. I was surrounded by a group of guys that I love with all my heart and know that they always have my back. My knee being sore is just another great story to tell about why I love being in a fraternity and why I never want to grow up.

New York News
* The New York Giants will open up against the Washington Redskins on Thursday September 4th! I already booked off with a holiday... that will be an AMAZING weekend for me. Yes, weekend, I plan on being off Thurs-Sunday
* The Yankees released some new images of the NEW Yankee Stadium that opens up in 2009. Curbed wrote: The Stadium War is heating up, and we have to say that this round goes to the Yankees. Not long ago the Mets unveiled some new Citi Field renderings, proudly displaying the stadium's new corporate logo. This could have been a response to the Yankees' surprising move to hoist their own new stadium sign into place, despite the somewhat early stage of construction.
As much as I hate to see Yankee Stadium I go , the place is falling apart and after the rennovations in 1971 when the Yanks played for 2 years at Shea Stadium. The Football Giants played at Yankee Stadium up until the rennovations took place. Below you can see the Giants playing the Bears in the 1956 NFL Championship game (pre-Super Bowl era) In the NFL Championship Game on an icy field against the Chicago Bears, the Giants wore sneakers as they had 22 years previous. They dominated the Bears winning the championship by a score of 47–7.
* For those in New York City... GOOD NEWS! Water taxi Beach has DOUBLED the size of the beach this summer to over 44,000 sq. feet. They also just dumped about 500 tons of sand from Long Island on the site. Cooper and I headed out there last summer after checking out PS1 and had a BLAST watching the sunset behind Manhattan. On a Saturday over the summer, check out PS1 and then Water taxi beach.. It's a great day to relax, drink and have a good time. Pleas there is some EYE CANDY.

Famous Friends
My other friend, who I will not name, is VERY famous. He was on the cover of People a few weeks ago and I called him to say he looks sexy with his shirt off. I don't feel like giving who it is away but I will say is that a lot of you know him and his girlfriend is VERY well known.
I grew up with his younger brother back in my acting days. Christian called me and asked if I wanted to meet for some beers and to play pool... so we met up at this bar we have been going to the last few years when he is in town from LA. We caught up on gossip, life and bullshit. About an hour later his famous brother walks in with his girlfriend....
One of the reasons I did not bring up his name is because I saw what it is like to be famous and going out in a bar. He was hounded by people in the bar to take pictures and talk and not enjoy a night out with friends. His girlfriend was hounded even more. it took the bouncer of the bar to come over and ask people to "leave us alone" to stop. I felt really bad. But overall, it was a cool night. My bar tab was picked up and I got to hang out with some cool people.
Comfort of Home
I also had some AMAZING Blackened Atlantic Cod with rice pilaf, since it was Good Friday, I had some seafood with mom and dad to keep them happy.
While at dinner, I locked eyes with a former hook up of mine. He looks so good.I have talked about him, and our situation before and he didn't stop to say hello at all... just avoided me. Sigh...
I couldn't find the post I wrote about him (sorry being lazy) but he now has a girlfriend and there was a very dramatic night where he stood at my door and told me he couldn't "do this" anymore and really made me sad.
My mother told me that I should pick up some shifts at the restaurant to make some extra cash this summer before I start looking at condos... I seriously would but think it would be really awkward for me... it's still hard to think about him... arg...
This whole post is about the comfort of home and I really am VERY lucky to have an amazing family that I can rely so much on to help me out...

How's Your Bracket?
So how are all those brackets coming guys? I have mine set on on Facebook and I am doing okay. I really didn't see USC losing but no big deal right?Duke Almost lost and it would have made my DAY... hell my month if Duke had lost last night to Winthrop.
I need to get a scan of my bracket, but Facebook has my page down for maintenance right now.
I will tell you that I do NOT have UNC winning the whole Tourney. Everyone was going with North Carolina and I wanted to be different. I really think Georgetown can give them a run for their money in the Final Four. The Big East is so physical. They can take UNC anyday...
By the way... the SEC is 0-2 and the Big East so far has not lost!
Anyone else big into college basketball???

Cooper and Billy Fuck!
It's fun when porn sites use the names of two of your good friends as pseudonyms for a HOT porn. Sean Cody did just that as two of my best friends Cooper and Billy finally just fuck the shit out of eachother. Well, these guys named "Cooper" and "Billy" do anyway.I came across the pair on Fleshbot, I think and went over to the Sean Cody site to see a preview of the fuck fest. The way the video is described is hilarious.
So, once they sat down, Billy and Cooper both had questions for each other.
Billy wanted to know how big Cooper's cock is.
Cooper wanted to know how many guys Billy has had sex with.
You know, for being a shy guy, Cooper is an energetic little top.
After reading the preview of the video I sent e-mails to Cooper and Billy telling them that a porn duo are stealing their names and that Cooper is the top in the relationship. It's possibly funnier to the three of us because since hanging out Cooper and I decided that Billy was a "Super Power Bottom" and it frequently comes up in conversations how Billy likes to get in a sex swing, leave the door open and hope for the best.
College Sex
Big up's to Gawker for the link to a story about H Bomb. It's a magazine at Harvard all about sex and relationships.
EDIT: Sorry for the autoplay. Click here for the Video Link.
There was a huge controversy when a student group wanted to publish this magazine. The co-founder says that the magazine is not porn, but high art.
My favorite is when they show the first centerfold and the bald, jacked guy hanging out on the right. WOW.
BOINK is another college magazine all about sex that I think comes from Boston University. Way back when I was in college I would have LOVED to write for a magazine that covered sex. Maybe written a short story or done something fun like take pictures...

Network News Trimming Staff
The report, released Monday, found that the total staff employed by the network news divisions (NBC, ABC and CBS) fell 7 percent in 2007 compared to the year before. PEJ included correspondents, anchors, executives, producers, editors, and researchers in the tally, which was compiled with the help of the networks. More significantly, “the number of producers was down 24 percent compared to the number listed the previous year,” the report stated.
I am pretty happy that I got out of Network News and am now working in sports television.
Happy Saint Patricks Day
I really didn't know who it was. I started to think and then I said, "Who is this?" I wasn't going to play a game. "It's Eric"
I met Eric back before my birthday in February and we had a lunch date which went pretty well. He then fell off the face of the earth and never called me back.
After the text, "It's Eric" he called me. He said he wanted to explain what happened and invited me over for a drink.
I accept and drove over because I was pretty close. Now, I know what you are thinking... late night booty call. It was in the back of my head that it could happen and almost banked on it.
I walked into his apartment and it's really nice. Eric on the other hand was a complete mess. He started to talk incoherently and tried to get me to down some tequilla. He tried explaining how he had a lot of stuff happen the last month or so and felt like an ass for not calling me.
I quickly realized that this guy was a mess and needed to get out of there. After about 15 minutes of him apologizing and trying to get in my pants I decided to leave. I told him I was tired and needed to get home to go to sleep.
I really felt bad for him because it looks like he is having a rough time... but then again, who isn't right now.
I was supposed to be in New York City this weekend but because I am pretty much broke I am staying in Connecticut. Hope everyone is enjoying themselves today.

I Think I'll go to Boston...
We get up to Boston and park near the TD Banknorth Garden (the name of the arena) and head in for a shoot around on the floor. It was pretty fun. I got to take a few layups and shots on the net and did a pretty good job of not embarrassing myself.
After the shoot around we grabbed burgers and beers at Boston Beer Works. We got to know each other a little better and talked about a whole bunch of stuff. I really had to ask about him and the other guy I had met at the party back about a month ago. Turns out they are really good friends who are also fuck buds.
The conversation went from there. He describes himself as a "guy looking for a connection" and doesn't really have an orientation. I really don't mind because he's adorable and at this point in the night, I was getting the vibe that it was going to be just a friends kind of friendship.
After drinking our faces off and somehow managing free beers from the bartenders who were Yankees fans, we headed into the game and I watched Utah DESTROY Boston 110-92.
I am not that much of an NBA fan. I love college basketball. NBA is a different style of play. Hell each conference in college is a different style of play. I really like the passion of college basketball and I am very excited for March Madness.
After the game the Celtics had a Natasha Benningfield concert. She sang acoustic with 2 back up singers and was pretty good. She sang "I Love You" along with her new single "Pocket full of Sunshine"
Everything was done with just that one guitar and backup singers until her last song, "Unwritten" which is the theme song to The Hills on MTV.
The studio track started over the speakers and all the high schoolers in the audience went NUTS. She sang very well and even though it was only a 5 song set, it was still pretty cool.
We drove back to Connecticut and had some great conversation in the car on the way home. Even got to a bar in Hartford before last call.
I dropped him off at his place and we said our goodnights. I then went home for the night... More on that later but here are some pics from the trip.

Weekend Review
I am pretty much paying his mortgage. It's fine... I have no problem with that and have no problems with my roomie. I talked it over with Momma and Papa Mac and they think it is a good choice for me to make. I will be saving a lot of money in the mean time and will start looking for places to live in December.
The move is not until May. I am giving my roomie notice and me time to get my stuff out of the place and into my childhood room. Well, it also gives me time to clean out, repaint and get my old room ready for me to move into.
For the first time in 3 and a half years I won't be paying rent. I am excited!
Now for the fun stuff. Friday night was pretty sweet. I headed down to see my cousin and my college hockey team play in the ECAC Tournament. My school is known for it's hockey team so it was a big deal. I was given a royal treatment by the school for some help getting them some national attention and given an All Access Pass for life to the Arena. I took advantage of the Alumni Club open bar and buffet and enjoyed some great college hockey.
They won the first game in OT 7-6 against Brown University. After that game I said goodbye to my cousin and ran into Soccer Stud. Soccer Stud is a former player on our Soccer team. I happened to be his Community Advisor his freshman year. He is pretty hot, has a great body and was there at the game because he still lives in town. He invited me over for a beer.
Soccer Stud just broke up with his girlfriend and doesn't know that I know he hooked up with a friend of mine, who is gay. He's in the closet and always gives me a call to "talk" but nothing has ever been talked about. He's a cool guy and have a feeling he doesn't know how to bring it up. It was still good to see him though.
The second game on Saturday, also against Brown, was won 7-1. After that game I went to our old fraternity hangout for a sandwich and beer with a fraternity brother of mine. We talked about his upcoming wedding and bachelor party.
Before the game I had a few texts with a guy I knew in college asking if I wanted to go to Gay Night at a bar in New Haven. I decided to head down and got there and it was dead. All the area schools, including Yale, were on break. Not that many people were there, but I went up to the bar and ordered a beer... it cost me a quarter... It was going to be a good night.
First, I started chatting with the bartender about the Gay Stripper on American Idol. That got this cute Lataliano talking. (Latin+Italian) The guy was really cool. Dressed in a thug way but was awesome to talk with. My friends arrived and they joined in the conversation and the we moved upstairs to the hot bartender I have come to adore.
While upstairs Roomie and some of his friends show up so now we have a big group of people hanging out. As I was walking to the bathroom this really cute guy catches my eye. Skinny, all American looking guy. We start talking and he tells me his name... Ted.
Ted is drunk at this point but our conversation gets off and running. He is also a Giants fan (score!) and works in the same field I do, but lives in Stamford which is about an hour away from me, but only about 20 from my parents house.
We move over to the bar, still talking and he buys me a shot. He goes to the bathroom and the Lataliano comes over and tells me that Ted is really hot and I "better hit that"
I laughed because I have known this guy for about an hour and he is all friendly with me. I laugh and tell him I am trying to work it.
Ted comes back and there is more talking and then he asks me why I said hello. I told him it was because he is hot and thought why the hell not. He kept saying he thought I was awesome. I leaned in and told him he was pretty awesome as well and after I said that he leaned in closer and gave me a kiss on the lips.
I am back! BACK IN THE NY GROOVE! (Song by KISS, also the Giants Touchdown song)
The rest of the night Ted and I danced, kissed and made eachother laugh. By the end of the night he was pretty wasted and gave me his number.
As I was on my way out, Lataliano came up to me and gave me a high five and told me he was jealous that I made out with Ted. I told him I was jealous that he was making out with some cute guy in a grey sweater... He laughed and gave me his phone number.
Two numbers, one night. I feel like working out has been working.
I have been kicking ass with my diet, working out, running and keeping on with what I want to do. Damn it feels good.
I decided to call Ted on Sunday while I was on my break at work. We talked for about 20 minutes about his day, how he lost and found his jacket and had most of Monday off from work. Being aggressive, I sent him a text today late in the afternoon as I walked in the gym asking how is day was. This led to a long text chain and eventually an AIM conversation.
I am not jumping ahead, but it was a great weekend for me.

Oh Chace
Chace Crawford and J.C. Chasez are rumored to be dating. I would really love to see the Gossip Girl star having some naked fun with any guy. Including me. The two were spotted at an Oscar party together and later took a trip to Vegas together. They have also been rumored to have moved in with eachother. Good for them.
I really liked seeing him shirtless in The Covenant. I also hope that the two come out as an official couple. Would be hot. Even if they are dating I doubt either will talk about the relationship right now.

The Pentagon's Ray Gun
I am a big fan of science fiction. It is such an escape for me. It always has been. I can remember being young and loving He-Man, Thundercats and Voltron cartoons. Then I saw Star Wars on VHS.I loved it.
My grandmother saw my love for space and got me hooked on Star Trek: The Next Generation. I do not wear the costumes but as a young kid I had the action figures and the various ships from the series including the Enterprise.
Anyway, why do I bring this up? I was watching 60 Minutes and one of their stories was on a weapon they have that is pretty much a large ray gun that can repel crowds up to a half mile away.
“Officially called the "Active Denial System," it does penetrate the body, but just barely. What happens when the beam hits a person? "It's absorbed in the top layer, 1/64th of an inch, which is about three sheets of paper that you’d find in your printer," Col. Hymes explains”
Its one of the non-lethal weapons that the Pentagon is working on. Watching it on TV was pretty cool. They have been testing it for years to see what, if any side effects there could be. It has been cleared to be sent to Iraq this summer.

Dinner Date and Weekend
He left a few hours ago and has since texted me saying he had a good time talking about where I work but he liked seeing me more. Now I am just LOST!
This past weekend I did pretty much nothing. I have been fighting off a chest cold that had me really down. Thursday I left work early and spent all of Friday on the couch in and out of consciousness watching movies and catching up on DVR episodes of some shows.
Saturday was more of the same and at night I ended up getting the strength to meet my best friend John for a drink at his wife’s restaurant. It’s an Italian American nook that was very “trendy”. Feeling good (on cold meds) I had some Jack Daniels and we talked at the bar. Really good time and I even got a gift from him! (more on that after I get it out of the box!)
Overall the night turned out to be great. I met up with Rick for a night cap and we somehow managed to end up at an after party in a Hartford apartment building that is brand new and very nice.
I’m still up in the air about Rick. I can’t get a good read on him. Right now, I am happy that with our friendship and see what develops.
