It's that time again...

It's that time of year where everyone starts on the path to get in shape before summer hits. It's also almost time for Softball to start up.

I started getting e-mails from my teammates about the coming season and I am excited! I really am.

What has made the last 2 weeks bareable is the fact that I am running outside when it's nice out and building up my stamina to run a half marathon in September.

Saying Goodbye... and vacation.

I haven't been this lame in a while. At least, this is what Tony would say.

I've mentioned him on the site before as a friend of mine. I was supposed to see him in February but a bunch of stuff happened where we ended up missing eachother. I don't know if he is reading the blog for the next few months but I've been thinking about him tonight/this morning.

I have been working on a script with my buddy Phil. I have run the idea by a few friends and they seem to really like the premise. Tony and I would talk about writing something together one day. He would send me stuff he would work on early in the morning while he was in school.

Anyway, I got really nostalgic tonight. I shot him an e-mail and hope to hear back from him in a week or so.

Tony is a guy that I had an enormous crush on when I first met him and started hanging out. The crush faded and left me with an awesome friend who has called me out on stuff and put me in my place several times when I needed to be called out.

I fucking miss him terribly and can't wait for to see him again soon.

On a happy note... I bought tickets to Las Vegas! I'm heading out to CineVegas in June!!! I can't wait.

Thank you Nike+

Last Spring/Summer I was on track and in a groove working out. I had a great schedule and worked out before I went to work and sometimes snuck a little in on my lunch break.

For whatever reason I got off track, moved my life around to start going to work at 4am and fell off the wagon. When I tried to get back into a routine, something would happen. My good friend died... the holidays... another time shift for work.

Well, it all changed about a week ago.

For the last month or so I have been going to the gym on a regular basis. My diet has been, pretty terrible. I am an emotional eater and I know it. I am getting better though.

Anyway, I was talking with a friend of mine about Nike+ and decided to download it to my iPod touch. It pretty much kicks ass. I am averaging an 11minute mile right now. I'm hoping to drop some poundage before I head to Vegas!

Guys Gone Wild

Late at night, when I am awake, I will be flipping through the channels and no matter what I will always see a commercial for Girls Gone Wild.

Girls flash their tits and scream "WOOOOOO" and that's about it. Then wannabe porn stars dyke it out. Same formula, different places. Cancun! Miami! On a Bus! Apparently there is a site "Guys Gone Wild" which is the same thing except there are hot guys flashing their abs, asses and cocks. There are even some guys that will jerk off on camera.

Well, a few weeks ago most Division 1 schools were on Spring Break. My alma mater included. I am putting together a scholarship for a friend of mine that passed away back in November and had a meeting with some other alumni as well as my fraternity's current E-Board. We asked about Spring break over lunch and heard some hilarious stories.

Apparently, one of the pledges was down in Cancun and was offered $100 to jerk off for Guys Gone Wild. He's kinda built too so I am thinking that it's gotta be a hot video. I just don't know if I would go out of my way and try to find it.

If I had a membership to Gay Torrents then maybe... (HINT HINT... I would like an invite to the torrents site)

Facebook gift

The Facebook gods have sent me a gift today that will entertain me for a while. It also threw a lot of gasoline on to the "is he gay fire"

I have been getting a lot of friend requests from guys I was friends with in high school. It's been 10 years since graduating and there are Facebook groups/invites made for our class to plan our 10 year reunion. What's nice about it is that there are guys that I kinda knew in high school friending me on Facebook. One guy, I had a crush on for a long time.

I of course accepted and wanted to check out his profile. Currently he is a lawyer in Los Angeles for a big talent agency. What is getting me going is that he does not list that he is interested in Men or Women and he has tons of shirtless pictures of himself with guys and girls. At least I can drool over the soccer player I wanted to bang in high school.

Jock to Porn Star

Deadspin had a story that they found on Unprofessional Foul that caught my eye. An up and coming Futbol player in the UK suffers a nasty knee injury... so what does he do... he starts making porn with his wife.

His real name is Danny Mountain and he goes by Danny Mountain, which is an amazing name for a ho porn star.

Click here for a NSFW picture. Warning: There is a vagina in the picture for those who are scared of that sort of thing.

Back to New York

When I make trips to NYC I get very happy. Not in a boner kinda way (well, sometimes) but in a "I love this City" way.

Saturday I treked into the city to hang out and work with my friend Phil. He is a fraternity brother of mine who is really into writing and just being creative. We have been talking about putting some kind of project together for a while and we met this past Saturday to write and come up with something.

It felt great to be in a creative space and just write. He works out of an office in SoHo and his boss lent us the space to be creative.

I keep saying it but it felt awesome. I also really miss New York.

That night we started on the East Side where my little sister was bartending and after a few hours there I made my way to Hells Kitchen where Billy was supposed to be out but he turned in early. I hope there is a juicy story there...

Either way, my friend Phil, who is straight, came with me and had a good time hanging with me.

It was sad leaving after lunch on Sunday but it was worth it.

I have some things coming down the pipe that could lead to something back in NY. Who knows the way everything is working out with the economy.

Missed Connections

Has anyone ever used the "Missed Connections" tab on Craigslist before? When I lived in New York we would check them out at work because a lot of them are hysterical.

Check them out in your city and have a laugh… or you might find someone who is looking for you.

My friend “Steve” who lives up in Boston actually found the guy he had missed.

Steve was at the gym, working hard on his bod when this “Adonis” comes over to the treadmill next to him. He does 40 minutes of cardio and is about to pass out but he can’t help but admire the guy next to him. He showers up and hopes that the guy is there in the locker room so he can strike up a conversation.

He was not there. He went home and wrote a “missed connections” post on Craigslist. After he posted his missed connection he decided to look at what had already been posted that day.

He refreshed the page and the first one there had the title, “I was next to you at _____ gym” He read the ad and it turned out to be the guy next to him.

They e-mailed… chatted on AIM and met up for drinks tonight. I have yet to hear back from him so I am guessing he had a fun night.

In the City!

I am very excited about this weekend. I talked about my new inspiration a few weeks ago.I am finally acting on it.

One of my very good friends just got back from working at Sundance. We have been talking for over a year about script ideas and how we really need to "sit down and write" for almost a year now.

This week we were chatting on the phone and I got all serious with him. We decided to brainstorm the rest of the phone call and got an amazing amount of work done. We took a day and decided to talk the day after and we both had put a lot of work into our story ideas.

This Saturday, we are meeting up at his office in NYC and just writing. Brainstorming and figuring stuff out. I'm very excited about it.

I am spending the night in NYC. Who knows where I will end up at night but if anyone is around let me know.

Turn Around

What a weekend. I have been sick for the last 2 weeks. I finally got on some antibiotics and have been feeling better. I still sleep for 10 hours a night but that's just my body resting.

I have been chatting with this guy 'Chris' since the summer. We met in NYC when I was in town playing softball and kept in touch. AIM, Texting, phone calls.

Saturday rolls around and he invited me down to his place to chill with some friends and hang out. I took him up on the offer. I got there and we chilled on his doorstep for a little bit just talking and catching up.

The night was filled with laughs, beers, shots and good times. Later on in the night I had followed him to his room so we could grab a bottle of something he had in there. We got the bottle and he said something to me which I really don't remember and we locked eyes and went into a heated make out session for about 2 minutes before heading back to the party.

Both drunk we passed out later that night almost clothed. When I woke up the next morning we had some good pillow talk and then some fun time.

We had forgot about daylight savings so when I left it was close to 1pm and I had to be at work by 5pm.

It was a fun weekend and I like the guy a lot. He lives in NYC so it's tough to try and do anything. We'll see how it goes. It was defiantly a good boost to my confidence.

Can't Kick It

I have had a cold that I just can't kick. I don't get it. One hour I will feel like complete death.. the next I am ok with just a small sniffle.

It's so strange.

My life has been a routine as of late. It's been hard to break.

1:00pm - Wake up.
1:15p- roll out of bed.
1:17p-5p - Waste time on facebook, e-mail, looking at pictures.
5p- shower
5:30p- leave for work
6p-3a - work
3:30am- get home
5am- fall sleep

(repeat)

Now, on this routine the last week I have been sleeping in late and not doing much before I leave for work.

Being sick sucks. But that's ok. I think I can kick it with lots of fluids (mind out of the gutter)

Yesterday I started to read a book I haven't read since I lived in NY. It's about the TV biz and it's got me back in a zone where I know I need to do something for myself to get back into what I love: Making Television.

I have looked back over my past ideas and I know that I can put something together that will catch someones eyes.

Either way, I am feeling good with where things are going... my dating life... not so much.
