I have been working on this post for a couple of days. Work has been crazier than ever. I have been given a whole bunch more work to do than normal and have not been feeling too good either.
Working the morning shift was great. I was a lot busier than normal and also had my nights free. A couple of Friday nights ago I met this guy at a bar here in Connecticut. He was wasted and asked for my phone number and never thought he would call. Well, he called.
How can I describe him... He is about 5'9" built with biceps and a nice chest, and very much my type. He played one year of lacrosse at Arizona State and after was just a fraternity guy.
A masculine, Italian, built lacrosse player that wants to hang out with me?!
We met up for a drink in South Norwalk and talked. He was tired after getting back from a long week of partying on vacation. We got along really well and it was an awesome feeling. After our drink he invited me to his place and we made out all night. I fell asleep at his place and headed to work the next morning.
Over the next couple days we exchanged e-mails while we were at work, text messages, and phone calls.
I headed up to a wedding up in Mass over the weekend and while I was up there he would call me and tell me he missed me.
It was really cute. He would send me texts saying he couldn't wait to see me when I got back. I headed back to CT to pick up a shift at work and headed to his place to hang out. I spent the night at his place and thats where some red flags came up.
I walked in and he was just in from partying with a bunch of friends. His eyes were blood shot and he was all over the place. I don't know if he was just drunk or if he might have been on coke but something was off.
We cuddled on the couch and I tried to tell him about the wedding but he was all over the place. I was so tired I started to fall asleep on the couch and I decided I was just going to stay there for the night. We head up to the bedroom and I crawl into bed and pretty much fall asleep
I really want to take it slow with him. We are going to a concert in a few weeks together and I guess I will see how it goes. I really love the fact that he is masculine and into me... I'm taking it slow.

WEAKend
It's Sunday... I had three days off and loose plans and for some reason a wrench was thrown into the plans I had made.
Friday my plan was to head to NYC and hang out with Cooper, Billy and K for Fleet Week. For those outside of NYC, Fleet Week is when all the sailors invade Manhattan for festivities that include parades, recruitment sessions, and a lot of horny seamen looking to get off.
I was very excited. I went to the mall with my sister to get a new shirt to wear that would show off my still in progress body. I showered, got dressed and headed to the train station. On the highway I get a frantic phone call from my cousin. he had discovered that his girlfriend of 3+ years had been cheating on him. He was furious and knew where the guy lived. He really could have murdered him.
I pulled off the next exit and headed North to see him. I talked to both Cooper and Billy and said that I would meet them out Saturday night in NYC.
I calmed down my cousin with beers in his backyard with a few of his high school buddies. It was a weird night trying to calm him down, but it was quality time to spend together.
Saturday I worked out and did some stuff around the house and started looking at train times for NYC and debating on another option where I would be able to see a friend I had not seen in 4 years.
This guy JB and I had met in college and had a late night encounter that was a one time thing for him. A few weeks ago he came out of the wood work and invited me up. He kept asking me to come up and see him.
I debated on NYC and going to see him. He was texting me like mad and I decided to go up and see him. It was a BIG MISTAKE. While it was cool going up and seeing him, it was very awkward. We are two VERY different people and to top it off....NOTHING happened between us. BLAH
Today, my 3rd day off in a row, went by quick. Hung out at home, worked out, and had a family bbq that was PAINFUL. Everyone has that one aunt they HATE going to see. This is the one that had a bbq today.
To sum up the day my sisters decided to blow off the BBQ leaving me the loan cousin of the 5 of us to be there with the rest of my family that was loathing being there. My dad tried to fight a Patriots fan who talked shit about the Giants, and my cousin I don't get along with got shit bombed and started hardcore making out with a guy who was not her boyfriend in the middle of the party.
I am about to head to sleep because I work NORMAL hours now, well... for this week at least.

Reel Big Fish
As I was on my way home from work tonight "Reel Big Fish" - Sellout came on the radio and it made me really happy! I was singing along in the car, top of my lungs having a blast. My drive home at night is about a half hour and I pass the time brainstorming and thinking of a whole bunch of stuff I wanted to think about at work but didn't.I have had a bunch of inspiration lately and the drive home has helped me gather my thoughts and get focused.
Ok, so what is up with the picture to the left? Well, It's part of my inspiration on two fronts.
1- the Gymnasium. Faithful reader Erik has pointed out how "Slim" I have been looking lately. Erik is someone I know and has been tracking (read: stalking) my progress on Facebook.
Another reader, John, saw my one week photo and said that he could see a BIG difference and then asked me to shave my chest. Hmmm we'll see if I can pull a Cooper.
2- I have decided to take up photography. I have always loved taking photographs with just a point a shoot digital camera. My father has a very nice Canon Digital with a bunch of different lenses. This summer I am taking a digital photography class and hope to take photos of young men like to the left of this post!

UGH
It's been a a long couple days since I have posted. My workouts have been going great. Thanks to everyone who posted comments with advice. Whats great is that there is a lot to take into account when you work out.
I have been moving a whole bunch of stuff back to my parents place and I already know it's going to be a long few months living with them. I have some leads on condos and first time homebuyers rates are amazing right now. I am working with my Aunt on a few places.
Work is work and I hope to put together a big update once I get settled.

Protein
Last week I asked a trainer at my gym what I could do to help my workouts and get ready for summer. He is in great shape and knows what he is doing. He asked what my goals were and what I had been doing. I gave him my sheet with a program on it from back in February.
He looked at it and recommended a change and to focus more on lifting and eating right than obsessing over cardio.
We went to the back office to talk more and he mentioned some supplements to take that would help me while I lift and really get my ass in check for summer.
I went down to GNC to check out the supplements for myself and lucky for me there was someone there to talk to about the supplements. It's what I was looking for and she highly recommended it. I went home and shopped online and found a cheaper price than at the store and ordered.
The picture above is what I take to work with me to eat. I have been starting my day off with a MegaMen Sport Vitamin along with the supplements that go along with this new program. I also have a small portion of Wheat Chex and Egg Whites.
3 hours later a protein shake and a whole cucumber cut up. Then it's a Turkey Sandwhich on whole grain, another Protein shake after I lift at the gym and then two peices of grilled chicken to end the day.
I have so much more energy and feel focused beyond belief. Next week I will share day by day my gym routine and if I cheat on eating anything that is "not good" for me. I am being really serious about it and in hopes, I will look SLAMMIN for a wedding I have at the end of the month.

July-May
Well, the dry spell is over. Let me tell you... it was great to get out of my system. The last time I was some kind of intercourse was all the way back in July. I had thought it was August but as I went back and looked at the post it was July.
"Who is this fellow?" you may ask... Well, as most of you know I am in the process of moving home to my parents place to save some cash and buy a condo sometimes before the end of the year. Well, I hae spent most of my off days stripping wallpaper and getting ready to paint my old room.
Sunday night I got an IM from a guy I went to high school with. We had messed around while we were both in college and haven't seen each other in about 4 years. He has also just moved home to save some money. We decided that we would meet for lunch and catch up on Monday.
We met up at a diner in town and just talked about everything and anything. He is currently rebuilding a 95 Jeep Wrangler and I really wanted to see what he had been doing to the Jeep. We get to his place and he shows me the car in the garage. He is pimping it out and it's looking real good for an older Jeep.
While I was checking the car out he tells me, "You have got hotter over the years."
Really wasn't expecting that. I smile and we have that 5 second awkward silence before he leaned in and kissed me.
About an hour later I had a flashback to back in the day with him. I didn't think that moving home was going to be good, but apparently it helped end my dry spell.

Walk
These last two days I have had off because of a weird blip in my schedule. No big deal. I spent most of the two days peeling wallpaper off the walls in my old/new room. I have found some gems from my past that brought back a lot of fun memories.
One of my favorite things to do while living here is walking around the neighborhood. I am so lucky to have grown uup in a nice neighborhood where I rode my bikes with neighbors, played pick up football and hiked in the woods for hours on end. I would pretend I was a knight on a mission, or a wizard even Indiana Jones. I just always had something to pretend about.
Now that I am "living here" I have my old jogging route to get re-equainted with. It's also the same route that I would sneek out and walk late at night when I needed to think about stuff.
Tonight I walked and talked on the phone and it felt good to do so. I had great conversation and just walked around talking.
At one point I stopped and looked at the wide open sky and saw the Big Dipper... I really want to take an astronomy class this summer.

Giants Visit White House
The President made a GREAT jab at the Dallas Cowboys and Democrats today while honoring the NY Giants. He said he wanted to send Jessica Simpson to the DNC... while it was a funny jab I hope Jessica Simpson is NOWHERE near the DNC this summer.
