This past weekend proved to be a good one. With all the suggestions from comments and friends (like Mr. Stiltskin and JR) the guy I met this weekend, Paul, I texted him on Sunday to say “Great to meet you.”
He said thanks and nice to meet you too. All of Monday went by and I didn’t really think of him and then today around 5:30 I got a text from him.
“Yoo.”
This started a texting conversation from 5:30 till 8:30ish about a bunch of random stuff. Never too long in between texts. The entire time he was in a MBA class. His professor doesn’t allow laptops during lectures. He added me on Facebook using his iPhone.
Thank you to all of you who said to be patient and let him pursue me. After talking with JR about texting him to say, Nice to meet you was ok. Just showed I was thinking about him. He ran away with it today.
Regardless, I am excited about the prospects… Not overly excited because who knows what will happen. We have a lot in common. Who knows what will happen. He said he wants to come to a softball game of mine soon and wants to hang out to grab “steak and beer”
Feels so good…
