Back to New York

I am sitting in the airport waiting for my flight to take off and I leave LA behind. I still have a stuffy nose but it's a lot better than what I was feeling like when I landed in LA. I am sure I will stuff back up and feel like crap when I get up in the air but oh well. I have work tonight. BLEH

I should be hearing back by tomorrow about the position. I heard back from another network about a job I have been calling about for the past few months... I didn't get it. I still don't understand why they would string me along about the position and just shoot me an e-mail and not call me and let me know. Although, the Coordinating Producer said in his e-mail that they want to bring me in again and talk about other oppertunities.

I'm excited to get back to New York. I have also made a decission that I like New York better than LA. For many reasons. Better public transportation, less traffic congestion, and most of my life is in New York. If I get the job out here I will give it serious concideration but I think that for now its NYC for me.

I hope you guys had a good weekend. I know I had a good Friday night hanging out with friends in LA and partying at this sports bar. I was with my friend Michele who was my prom date back in High School. We went and got food at Hamburger Mary's. It's a Burger joint with a gay twist. It was cool, the burger was okay, but it was a fun enviroment to be in. It was her idea to go there. Look to the next post for more.

  2. eee. i don't know why you want to take a bus when you can cruise in your own car. Like in the summer, with your convertible top off or in the winter enjoys your favorite cd with 78 degree temperature. I like NY, I like how lively it feels when you are there. But because of the pub transportation I can't even imagine myself to be there.

  4. Welcome back! I tend to like NYC better as well. It is not so spread out and much easier to get around.

  5. New York boasts the most extensive and one of the oldest transportation infrastructures in the country. Engineering difficulties because of the terrain of the state and the unique issues of the city brought on by urban crowding have had to be overcome since the state was young. Population expansion of the state generally followed the path of the early waterways, first the Hudson River and then the Erie Canal. Today, railroad lines and the New York State Thruway follow the same general route. sportsbook, The New York State Department of Transportation is often criticized for how they maintain the roads of the state in certain areas for the fact that the tolls collected along the roadway have long passed their original purpose. Until 2006, tolls were collected on the Thruway within The City of Buffalo. They were dropped late in 2006 during the campaign for Governor (both candidates called for their removal). http://www.enterbet.com
