I love you, man

I went and saw "I Love You, Man." tonight. My sister had already seen it and said it was hilarious. The premise looked funny and my buddy Chris and I were on a man-date so we decided to see it.

Chris is my straight/fraternity brother who is married so it's nothing like Andy Sandburg's character in the movie.

Andy plays Robbie who is Paul Rudds younger brother. He is a trainer at Equinox and looking a LOT like Sydney Crosby. I never really saw it until this movie.

We find out that he is gay at a family dinner.

I don't wanna ruin the movie so if you don't want to know what happens then don't highlight the text below.
Robbie tells his brother that he needs to go out and meet guys. At that point he interrupts the conversation to help a cute guy out with his bench press. They flirt and give each other winks. Later on in the movie Robbie has the bench press dude at the engagement party.
My buddy Chris asked me after the movie was over if that acttualy happened in real life. I went on to tell him some stories about straight guys in the past that have dabbled. He never thought it really happened. I wouldn't mind if Andy hit on me while working out though...

  3. I did not like the ending of the movie either. The first half of the movie was great. The latter... yawn.

  4. I found the movie really annoying - there were lots of scenes that went on far too long and were embarrassing and childishly unfunny - for example the scene were Paul Rudd is playing air bass to his girlfriend... it was stupid and went on and on!

Paul Rudd is a great actor, so why does he do crap like this?!
