Well, it's been a while. No, I did NOT forget about you guys. I have been very busy with work and getting stuff done for grad school. It's an exciting time. So I guess I should catch you up on everything that has been going on.
WORK
One of the reasons why I had been staying away from the blog is because of an audition for a role in an ad campaign. I was staying away from the blog just incase I had to shut it down. I did not get it as I heard it went to an "actor" and not an employee.
I got my official schedule and I have a new shift that will have me working mornings again. It's nothing like my last job but I will be getting out of work by 2pm. I am pretty excited about it.
DATING
I have got texts and a few phone calls from that guy from Seattle. He lives in fucking Seattle... UGH.
I started talking to the Doctor who is a pretty cool guy. I really don't think it's going to be a dating situation as it's turning out we are just friends, which is cool by me.
I have realized that dating is a complicated chess match. You need to meet at the right time and make the appropriate moves at the right time in order for it to work out.
The last guy I went out on a date with started saying he wanted to be my boyfriend teh second time we had hung out. I got so wrapped up in compliments that it took me a few days to realize that it was moving faster than I had liked.
Apparently it just takes time.

ReplyDeleteWe've talked about this many times...it's like either it happens way too fast or takes so fucking long that whatever momentum there was disappears. Argh!

ReplyDeleteSounds to me like you write people off too soon and\or too easily. Relationships that work take an open mind (i.e. not so many rules and codes of conduct), flexibility, and lots of effort.
