Thanks Steve Jobs

Well, Steve Jobs really ticked me off a few days ago when he announced that they were slashing the price of the iPhone by $200. Back when I got the iPhone it was all the buzz, and it still is.

I love the phone. It's the best product out there. Some people have had problems with their phones, I have not. I was upset at the slash in price. When I woke up today, I had an e-mail from Steve Jobs in my .Mac account telling me that I will have $100 to spend at the Apple Store! Click the picture at the bottom of the post to read the letter.

HOOORAY!!!!! According to Engadget it's, "definitely unprecedented in the consumer electronics industry that a company would give cash back to early adopters -- those most accustomed to buying a gadget first, asking questions later, and bottling their complaints when said gadget later drops dramatically in price."

Either way, I now have to think about what I will be spending my $100 on at the Apple store. I am sure Cooper and I will take a few trips to the store in SoHo before I leave New York to decide on what I will be buying.
