Last Night

Last night was a great night. I am laying in bed right now with a massive hangover. I called out sick last night from work to hang out with my buddy Sully. I haven't seen him in about 2 months and we both have tried to work out schedules out but, he has a worse sked than mine working in the NYPD.

He is a big Mets fan so I headed out to Shea last night to hang out with him. We had good seats on the Mezzanine on the first base side. We drank a ton of beer, bullshitted and watched a great baseball game. As a Yankees fan, people wonder how I can go to Shea and root on the Mets. It's simple... We play the Mets 6 times a year. To me... Inter-league is only about money for MLB to get the two NY, Chicago and LA teams to play each other and make money off of the national broadcast. Anyway, the ultimate is the Yankees win over the Mets in the 2000 World Series...

Anyway... After the game we headed to Manhattan to get some more drinks. We made a stop at Off the Wagon in the West Village to play some beer pong. I watched the end of the Yankees game there and saw A-Rods GRAND SLAM.

Tony was at a club on 41st street, no clue what the name was, but we ended up there and I proceeded to get hammered. I really don't remember much of the place. We walked in and did shots and grabbed beers. Overall, it was a fun night just to chill with Sully and worth the money spent.

Tonight is a big night for me... I have a Happy Hour meet up with some NYC bloggers and then a good bye party for my friend who is leaving for Morocco next week. The blogger happy hour should be a good time no matter what.

I don't wanna make a habbit of it but, Perez Hilton had on his blog the "Word of the Week" and it was this:

Post-Gay

Definition: Term used to describe same-gender-loving individuals that do not identify or associate with mainstream gay culture.

I thought it was interesting and wanted to see what you guys thought of it.

  1. THe problem with labels is that they are the first step into going mainstream.

If someone does not want to associate with the mainstream gay culture, that is a personal choice nad nothing the we should waste time labeling.

Also, if you think about it, a huge percentage of gay men would fall into the post-gay segment due to passions around sports, business, medical areas...

Great job on blog. WDWCP Students Rule...
