Something I can beat Towleroad to… USA Today has a front page story today about gay Teens and how they are coming out earlier and earlier.
Youths also swim in a cultural sea that's far more pro-gay than ever, says Ritch Savin-Williams, a psychologist at Cornell University and author of The New Gay Teenager. From MTV's The Real World to Will & Grace and Ellen DeGeneres hosting the Oscars, "kids can see gays in a positive light," he says.
It’s a good article and brings to light a lot of what is happening. Its plastered on the front page so I guess we will see how sales of USA Today are in conservative areas.

I'm shocked at the low 41% figure for the Great Lakes, lower even that the South. Huh? i've got to think there's something screwy with that poll. The Great Lakes as they've defined it include Chicago and some blue and borderline-blue states. Living in Minneapolis I've never had a problem at all, and I tend to think our rural areas are less religiously conservative than those in the South. Wish there were more data on that poll.
